Wilderness First Aid

This training is NOT a Scouting America Training. It is only required for Troops and Crews if they are attending one of our 4 National High Adventure Bases (Philmont, Sea Base, Northern Tier, or The Summit) or if you will be conducting a Scouting activity 60 minutes away from definitive medical care.

Occasionally our Council will offer a Wilderness First Aid course through a partnership with another organization. Please check back for details on when/if one is being held. For those units who need adult leaders trained in Wilderness First Aid, we have compiled a brief list of providers that offer courses annually in our region.
