Headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, the Greater Alabama Council serves youth and adult volunteers in 22 counties in North & Central Alabama. We operate 5 camping properties, and have 2 offices. Our mission is to provide character development, citizenship training, and growth in physical, mental and spiritual fitness, to help create the next generation of leaders.

Scouts NEED trained leaders, and that is a fact. For any unit to have a successful outdoor program, the unit needs adult leaders who are trained to deliver an outdoor program. Help your Pack or Troop by getting trained this Spring!
