September 26th-27th-28th, 2014
Check-in 5:30 to 7:00 Friday night
Class begins 7:30 Friday night
Class ends Sunday afternoon around 5:00.
Minimum Age 18 (for Instructor) or 16 (for Instructor in Training).
Cost: $35 to register; includes all meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch.
$15 late fee if registered after September 20th.
Eat supper Friday before arriving at Camp
What to bring:
Ø BSA Current Annual Medical Form #34605 filled out and signed
Ø Water Bottles
Ø Back Pack
Ø Harness, helmet, and climbing shoes (Optional ), but no other personal climbing gear allowed
Ø Camping gear, tent etc.
Ø Closed toed shoes or boots
Ø Other things you might need for 3 days at Camp
Ø Leather gloves
We will cover the responsibilities of a Level 1 instructor, site selection, how to set up a safe climb and other things. This is required before you can get Level 2 training.
Level 1 is good for 1 year Level 2 will be for 3 years
