Cub Scout Shoot Out

The Cub Scout Shoot Out is back for its second year! This fun-filled day on the ranges at beautiful, historic Camp Sequoyah is a day your Cub Scouts don’t want to miss! Cubs will be able to earn the Level I Shooting Sports Award as they learn how to safely and properly use BB guns, Bows and Arrows, and Slingshots under the trained supervision of Cub Shooting Sports Instructors. Cubs will also have the chance to make significant progress on earning the Level II Shooting Sports award for a discipline of their choice!

Have down-time while waiting on your assigned timeslot on the ranges? Don’t fret! There will be a Bobcat Station where new Scouts can work on earning their Bobcat Badge, a leatherworking station where your Scouts will be able to make a nifty craft item, a knots station where Scouts will learn the essential knots needed for rank advancement, a Fishing station where you can try to lure in some of the legendary bass in Lake Cross, and a station where Scouts can learn basic first aid skills!

We look forward to welcoming you and your family on November 12, 2022, for the second annual Cub Scout Shoot Out!
